Tropic Thunder - Sativa - 36% THC

What it is

Tropic Thunder is a sativa mix blend from Animal, sold as flower. Instead of a single cultivar, it brings several strains together into one jar, which is common with mix blends and usually means a rounder, less predictable flavor than a single strain run. The label lists 36% THC, a number measured on one tested sample, so the jar in your hand can read a little higher or lower.

Taste and how people describe it

The supplier calls out citrus, mango and sweet gas, and that tracks with how tropical sativa blends tend to smoke: bright fruit up front, a fuel note underneath on the exhale. The smoke is described as smooth.

What people commonly report from blends in this lane:

• An uplifted, talkative headspace
• Energy that leans daytime rather than couch heavy
• A clear rather than sedating feel

Effects vary from person to person and from batch to batch, so your experience may not match someone else's.

Good to know

Start with a small amount and give it a few minutes before going back in, especially with a number this high on the label. Keep the jar closed, cool and out of direct light so the terpenes hold up. It is a favorite pickup for daytime smokers around the San Fernando Valley.
