1st prize Indoor Bio, Spannabis Champions Cup 2015 (Málaga) Night Queen is a pure and unhybridised Afghani Indica first seen in the 1980’s and now making a re-appearance in the Dutch Passion collection. She grows in a compact and bushy form and produces long and dense blooms of very heavy hitting indica bud. The harvest is special old-school Afghani weed, sticky resin coats the blooms with citrus flavours and spicy scents. This is very strong, just a small joint was enough for some of our test team. Night Queen can be used sparingly yet still be very effective so your harvest will go a long way. Users report a powerful body stone, a really potent indica-style buzz. The effect is very pleasant and relaxing, some users report it helps them sleep. A real treat for those looking for a good old-fashioned heavy hitting variety that is easy to grow and not at all demanding in the grow room.

What it is

Night Queen is a pure, unhybridized Afghani indica from Dutch Passion Seed Company, a line first seen in the 1980s and brought back into their collection. The plant grows compact and bushy, throwing long, dense blooms that finish heavy and resin coated. Dutch Passion notes a first prize for Indoor Bio at the Spannabis Champions Cup 2015 in Malaga.

This is classic landrace style indica flower rather than a modern dessert hybrid, so expect chunky, sticky buds instead of loud candy bag appeal.

Taste and how people describe it

The resin carries a citrus note over the earthy, hashy base that Afghani genetics are known for. Smoke tends to be full and coating.

Aroma: sticky resin, earth, a citrus lift
Reported feel: heavy, weighted, physically relaxing
Pace: most people describe it as a slow, sit down kind of flower

Effects vary from person to person and from batch to batch, so what one person reports may not match your own experience.

Good to know

Start with a small amount and give it time before going back for more, especially if you usually smoke lighter hybrids. Keep it in a sealed jar away from heat and light so the resin stays tacky. Our budtenders in the San Fernando Valley can walk you through how a given batch is smoking.

Adults 21 and over only.
