Not to be confused with Nerds, which has an alias of the same name, Blue Nerds was bred by Northern California-based SoHum Royal. Developed by crossing Forbidden Fruit with Watermelon Z, Blue Nerds is a balanced hybrid with a well-rounded and delightful profile. The strain is so good, it won 20th place in all the mixed-light weed in California at the 2023 Emerald Cup. Not only is Blue Nerd a powerful strain, making it ultra-effective and suitable for experienced cannabis users, when smoked, it emits a pleasant aroma with notes of lemons, apples, and blueberries. Blue Nerds' flavors also give a nod to its parent strains, with the taste of melons, Granny Smith apples, and berries coming through. It's reported that the hybrid gives its users a happy and focused high, while also relieving them of any stress or anxieties they may have. In line with the strain's fruity profile, Blue Nerds has fluffy, grape-shaped buts ranging in color from deep purple to green. Thin orange pistils and shimmery violet crystal trichomes cloak the nugs, shedding light on Blue Nerds' potency and overall quality. This content is for informational purposes only.

What it is

Blue Nerds is an indoor flower from SoHum Royal, a Northern California breeder, offered here in a 7 gram format. The cross is Forbidden Fruit and Watermelon Z, which puts sweet fruit on both sides of the family tree. It leans indica on our shelf, though the genetics read as a fairly balanced hybrid depending on the run.

Taste and how people describe it

Expect candied berry and melon on the nose, with a darker grape note underneath from the Forbidden Fruit side. The smoke tends to stay sweet rather than sharp, with a soft finish.

People commonly report:

A calm, settled body feel
A light head lift early on that mellows
A heavier lean later in the session

Effects vary from person to person and from batch to batch, so treating your first session as a small test run is reasonable.

Good to know

Any THC figure on the label comes from testing one sample of that specific batch, and numbers move around between harvests. Store the jar closed, cool and out of direct light to protect the terpenes. Available for delivery across the San Fernando Valley.
