$100 Ounce of the Day - Helena

What it is

Helena is the rotating pick in our Ounce of the Day flower program, a full ounce of bud packaged as a single jar or bag. The selection changes, so one week the pick may lean indica and the next it may lean sativa or land somewhere in the middle. Buds in this tier are trimmed for everyday smoking rather than for jar appeal, which means a mix of medium nugs and smaller pieces that break down easily by hand or in a grinder.

Taste and how people describe it

Flavor depends on the batch. Most of what rotates through this slot sits in familiar territory: sweet and doughy, earthy and herbal, or a little gassy on the exhale. People commonly describe the experience as relaxing and easygoing, with some batches feeling more clear headed and others heavier. Effects vary from person to person and from batch to batch.

Good to know

• Best in a joint, a bowl, or a bong, and it rolls well once ground.
• Keep the jar closed and out of sunlight so the flower holds its moisture.
• Cannabinoid label numbers come from testing a sample and shift batch to batch.

Adults 21 and over can order it for delivery across the San Fernando Valley.
