$100 Ounce of the Day - Fire Melon

What it is

Fire Melon is a flower option from Daedalus Craft Cannabis, offered here as a full ounce in our Ounce of the Day rotation. It is whole bud flower, packaged for people who go through a fair amount and would rather buy in volume than in eighths. Ounce jars tend to be a mix of bud sizes, with the larger, better formed pieces up top.

Taste and how people describe it

The name points at the fruit side of things, and that is usually where this one lands: sweet, a little candied, with a green melon note that shows up most on the first pull from a clean glass piece. Grinding it brings out more of the sharper, peppery back end.

What people commonly report:

• An easy, relaxed body feel that builds rather than hits all at once
• A light, chatty headspace early on
• A heavier lean later in the session, especially at higher doses

Effects vary from person to person, and the same strain can feel different depending on how much you take and what you have eaten.

Good to know

Any potency figure on the label comes from a tested sample, and those numbers move between batches. Store the jar sealed and out of direct light so the ounce still smokes well two weeks in. Our budtenders in Van Nuys can talk you through how it compares to other ounces on the menu.
